AField Dimensions:
Length: The length of the field should be between 100 and 110 meters (100-110 yards).
Width: The width of the field should be between 50 and 100 meters (50-100 yards).

Goalposts:

Located at the center of each goal line.
Consist of two upright posts placed equidistant from the corner flagposts.
The goalposts are connected at the top by a crossbar.

A rectangular area in front of each goal defined by lines connecting the goalposts and extending from the goal line.
Goal area dimensions vary but are typically about 6 meters (20 feet) from each goalpost and 6 meters in front of the goal line.

Special Materials

Penalty Area:

  • A larger rectangular area in front of each goal, extending beyond the goal area.
  • Penalty area dimensions are approximately 16.5 meters (18 yards) from each goalpost and 40.3 meters (44 yards) in front of the goal line.
